Holds its shape empty
That is the difference between a structured bag and a soft one that pretends. It stands on a table with nothing in it and the handles stay upright.

The tan darkens beautifully
Four months and it has gone from pale honey to a proper caramel at the corners. The brass has dulled at the turn-lock where my thumb lands.

Small for a work bag
An A5 notebook fits, an A4 folder does not. Worth checking the dimensions — I turned it on the page to get a feel for the depth and it is genuinely 12 cm.

You can tell by the weight and by how it has aged. Nothing about this bag is thin.
