Two seasons and they look better

The one-piece vamp means there is almost nothing to leak. Wet grass, bogs, a couple of river crossings and my socks stayed dry each time.

    Worth the break-in

Brutal for the first two walks and then they moulded and never bothered me again. The heel brake is genuinely useful on steep loose descents.

    Resole quote was reasonable

Asked what a resole costs before buying. It is a fraction of a new pair, which is the argument for a welted boot in the first place.

    Heavy, as leather boots are

780 g a boot is felt by the end of a long day. I looked around it in 3D on the page and the sole depth is honest, but no rendering prepares you for the weight.
