Porro glass at this price is a bargain
Wider and brighter than the roof-prism pair I paid more for. Edge softness is there if you look for it and I never do.

Heavier than a compact, and worth it
Half a kilo round your neck all day is a real thing. In exchange you get eight power you can hold steady, which a compact does not give you.

Leather grips when it is wet
Rained on for two hours and no fogging inside. The cladding stays grippy where a rubber armour goes slick.
