About this item
- Vitreous enamel fired onto the steel shell — glass, so it chips rather than scratches
- Double-wall vacuum body: 12 hours hot, 18 hours cold, 500 ml
- The cap unscrews into a 200 ml cup; the stopper under it pours without removing it
- Seafoam glaze with the kettle-black speckle the firing leaves behind
- Flat base and a 7 cm footprint, so it stands in a pannier or a pack's side pocket
Vitreous enamel over a double-walled steel body, with the cup as the cap. Twelve hours hot, and the enamel takes the knocks that powder coat does not.

Still hot at the top of the hill
Filled at six, drank at two, and it was still too hot to hold in the cup. The enamel has taken two proper drops onto rock with one small chip to show for it.

Pour stopper is the good bit
You can pour a cup without unscrewing the whole cap, one-handed, with gloves on. Half a litre is smaller than my last flask and I have not missed the difference.

Colour is accurate on the page
The seafoam is the same green in the hand as it is on screen, speckle and all, which is not something I expected from an online order.

Heavy for the volume
480 g for 500 ml is the price of an enamelled shell rather than a coated one. Worth it if you drop things; not if you count grams.
