The coating does what it claims
Rain sits on top of the canvas in beads and wipes off with a sleeve. The leather trim is the part that will age; the cloth looks the same as the day it arrived.

Small, and narrower than it photographs
Sixteen litres is genuinely sixteen litres. A 13-inch laptop goes in flat, a 15-inch does not. I checked the depth in 3D first and still slightly overestimated it.

Straps are decorative more than structural
Rolled leather straps look right and dig in past about five kilos. Fine for a laptop and a notebook, wrong for a day of walking.
