The quilting is stitched, not printed
I turned it right round on the page before ordering, which is the only reason I risked a boot at this price online. The diamonds catch the light one panel at a time — you can see it is relief. It arrived looking exactly like that.

Calf fit is generous, in a good way
I have wide calves and usually have to give up on tall boots. The shaft softened to my leg inside a fortnight instead of creasing across the front. The inside zip runs the full length so getting in is not a wrestle.

Cream it sparingly
Made the mistake of waxing them like my walking boots and the wax sat in the quilting and dulled the whole panel. Cleaned it back and a thin cream is right. Four stars only because nothing on the box warns you.
